Welcome to the website of Jerusalem Community Services of Ontario (“JCSO”, “we”, “us”). By using this website, creating an account, becoming a member, registering for an event, volunteering or donating, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
- Information you enter about family members must be provided with their permission.
Membership
Memberships give access to the benefits described on the Membership page for the period you paid for. Memberships that renew automatically can be cancelled at any time from My account; you keep your benefits until the end of the current period. Membership fees support our programs and are not charitable donations unless stated otherwise.
Events and tickets
- Event details, times and locations may change; we will let registered attendees know as soon as we can.
- Tickets may be transferred by changing the attendee name from My account where allowed.
- Attendees are expected to follow the instructions of organizers and volunteers and to treat everyone with respect. We may refuse entry to anyone who does not.
- Photos and videos may be taken at events and used on our website and social media. Tell an organizer if you prefer not to appear.
Volunteers
Volunteer applications are reviewed by our team and are approved at our discretion. Volunteers agree to follow our guidelines and to keep any personal information they see while volunteering confidential.
Donations and refunds
Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable. If you made a mistake, contact us within 30 days and we will do our best to help. Paid event tickets and memberships may be refunded at our discretion.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website: no attempts to gain unauthorized access, no spam, and no unlawful, hateful or harassing content in messages or forms.
Content
Text, photos and logos on this website belong to us or to their owners and may not be reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
We do our best to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
